Urgent appeal as two teen girls, 14, go missing – police ‘concerned for their welfare’

An urgent appeal has been launched in the search for two teenage girls who have gone missing.

Lexi Moore and Rhimaya Liburd-Foster, both 14 and from Glenfield, Leicestershire, have not been seen since Sunday, July 31.

Both their families and Leicestershire Police are concerned for the girls’ welfare.

The force has now launched a public appeal to help find any information on their whereabouts. It is believed they are together and may have travelled to Nottingham, reported Leicestershire Live.

Lexi Moore was described as white, 5ft 2ins tall, and of a slim build, with dark hair. Rhimaya, meanwhile is multi-racial, 5ft 10ins tall, and has shoulder-length, straight dark hair.

It is not known what clothes either girl is currently wearing. A spokesperson from Leicestershire Police said: “Public help is being sought to locate two 14-year-old girls missing from the Glenfield area.

“Lexi Moore and Rhimaya Liburd-Foster were last seen on Sunday night (31 July) and both their families and police are concerned for their welfare. It is believed both girls are together and may have travelled to Nottingham”.

Anyone who has seen the girls, or knows of their whereabouts, is asked to call 101, quoting incident 745 of 31 July.
